The learner receives the right to use the course content for learning and therapeutic purposes only, the learner does not receive ownership of the content.
The license to use the content is:
non-exclusive – the learner is not the only learner taking the course
non-transferrable – the learner can not give the right to use the content to someone else
non-sublicensable – the learner does not have the right to give the same license the learner has to someone else (while keeping the license themselves too);
limited to the rights specified in the course terms and conditions
revocable – Jacqui McGinn has the right to revoke the license and stop the learner from using the course content, if the learner does not comply with these terms.
2. Use of Online Materials
The learner can only use the license for their own personal use; and may not use the course content for commercial purposes
The learner may not:
share any of the course content with third parties; nor
share their account information, including, but not limited to, their username and password, with anyone or provide access to their accounts in any other way.
Jacqui McGinn reserves the right to revoke the learner’s license and restrict them from accessing their accounts if they break these rules.
3. Disclaimer
Jacqui McGinn and co-teachers are not responsible for the learner’s actions and results, and Jacqui McGinn and co-teachers disclaim any and all guarantees, warranties, and liabilities.
4. Payment Options
For online learning experiences under £50, payment in full is required prior to the course starting.
For online learning experiences and 1:1 programmes of £50 or more, payment plans are available.
The learner agrees to and gives Jacqui McGinn permission to charge their payment accounts or credit cards automatically.
5. Refunds & satisfaction guarantees
The learner has a right to the cooling off period of 2 weeks from purchase. The learner may receive a full refund within this time.
After the cooling-off period, the learner may get a full refund if they are not satisfied with the course content or if it was not what they expected. In this case access to the course material and community will be revoked.
6. Lifetime Access
The learner has access for the lifetime of the course. The lifetime of the course is the period until the course is removed from the learning portal, or Jacqui McGinn ceases to exist as a business.
7. Course updates
The learner will have access to updated online material. Participating in live online sessions in later cohorts will require an additional fee.
8. Student groups
Jacqui McGinn, her team and co-teachers are not responsible nor liable for whatever other learners say in the community space.
A learner who causes upset or disruption to others’ learning or wellbeing will be removed from the community space.
